- Enter all required license and MLS information
- Have your bank routing and account numbers ready for direct deposit
- Have a credit card ready (eXp covers the $149 onboarding fee)
- Select “No” for the third-party payment option
- Sign the Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA)

When prompted for sponsorship, select “Can’t find my sponsor” and manually type the sponsor name

Watch for eXp Emails Activation instructions will arrive via email/text.

You will receive onboarding emails and text messages from eXp Realty and your State Broker

These messages include important next steps and activation instructions

Be sure you are checking the personal email address you used during application

Join Your MLS and Local Board Complete all local compliance requirements.
- Join your local Association of REALTORS®
- Join your MLS
- Complete New Agent Orientation
- Attend required MLS training
- Purchase a lockbox if one is not provided

Complete the Internal Team Agreement Watch for the signature request.

Join the Mentor Program (If Applicable) Newer agents are assigned a mentor.

If you have completed fewer than 3 transactions in the past 12 months, you will be assigned a mentor

Your mentor will be located within your MLS

They will guide you through your first transactions at eXp

Activate Your Tools Once activated, you’ll gain access to these systems.
