In 2013, CanZell Community became a publicly traded company. While anyone can invest through a brokerage or retirement account, CanZell agents have a unique advantage—they can take part in the stock purchase plan and also earn stock awards based on their performance each year.
REACH YOUR GOALS
Through the Sustainable Equity Plan—CanZell Community’s stock award program—agents can earn company stock by achieving key milestones throughout the year. You’ll receive stock shares when you:
Close your first transaction each year – earn $200 worth of CanZell stock.
Reach or exceed your annual commission cap – earn $400 worth of CanZell stock.
Sponsor a new agent, and once they close their first transaction – earn $400 worth of CanZell stock for each agent you introduce.
Please Note: All CanZell stock awards come with a 3-year vesting period. You can easily track your stock awards through the agent dashboard. To qualify for the sponsor award, the agents you introduce must still be with CanZell Community at the time of vesting.
Control your future
Another way CanZell agents can become shareholders is by joining the Stock Purchase Plan, also known as the Agent Equity Program. Through this program, agents can choose to have 5% of their commission withheld from each transaction to purchase CanZell stock—at a 10% discount.
The stock price and number of shares issued are based on the closing market value of CanZell stock on the last trading day of each month.
There is no vesting period for this stock and agents can opt-in (or out) at anytime.
Through the Agent Stock Purchase Plan, your stock is held by a company called Shareworks. You can easily view and manage your stock purchases anytime using the CanZell Community Enterprise tool, with the option to sell your shares whenever you choose.

Agents who achieve specific production milestones and meet cultural criteria can earn up to $16,000 (their annual cap) back in the form of CanZell stock. If you meet one of the following production requirements during your anniversary year, you could qualify for the ICON Agent Award:
OPTION #1: Agents reach their annual commission cap and then sell another twenty (20) homes during their anniversary year.
OPTION #2: Agents generate annual $500,000 in gross commission (GCI), close a minimum of 10 transactions and pay of the ICON qualifying fee equal.

ICON agents in this option are typically high-volume producers.
To qualify for ICON Agent, agents need to reach their annual cap and complete an additional 20 full transactions.
Here’s how it works: Agents at CanZell Community pay $16,000 into the company through the standard 80/20 commission split. Once you hit that cap, you move to a 100% commission split—only paying a $250 capped transaction fee per closing.
To qualify for the $5,000 portion of the ICON Agent Award, you’ll need to complete an additional 20 full transactions after capping. That’s 20 sales x $250 in transaction fees, which equals $5,000.
This is one of the ways top agents can earn their entire cap back in CanZell stock.
For Team Leaders: If you are a team leader or receive referral fees on a regular basis, all of those partial sales will be included in your production qualifications.
For example, if you receive four 25% referral fees, that would be counted as one full sale.
Or if your team pays you 50% on each transaction and they sell 40 homes during your anniversary year, then that would count as 20 full transactions.
For Individuals: Some of these numbers may sound a little overwhelming, but here’s another example:
If you are an individual agent whose average commission check is about $8,000, you would have to sell about 30 homes each year to qualify for ICON Agent.
You would have to sell 10 homes to reach your cap ($8000 x 10 sales = $80K) and then another 20 transactions during your anniversary year.

Icon agent production requirements
$500,000 in gross commission (GCI), minimum of 10 transactions + $5,000 less capped transaction fees paid.
This ICON Award production option is ideal for agents who focus on luxury real estate or work in markets with home prices well above the national average. To qualify, you’ll need to close at least 10 transactions and generate $500,000 or more in gross commission income within your anniversary year.
If you meet these production goals, you can still qualify for the ICON Agent Award by paying a one-time “ICON Qualification Fee” of $5,000—minus any capped transaction fees you've already paid.
Example #1: Icon Award Eligibility
Your average commission is $50,000 and you sell at least 10 homes each year for a total of $500K GCI.
It would take you two transactions to reach your annual commission cap. Then you would keep 100% of commission minus the $250 transaction fee on remaining eight transactions ($250 x 8 = $2,000).
To reach the minimum of $5,000 in capped fees, you would just have to pay an additional $3,000 towards your ICON Qualification Fee.
Example #2: Icon Award Eligibility
Your average commission is $25,000 and you sell at least 20 homes each year for a total of $500K GCI.
It would take you four transactions to reach your annual commission cap. Then you would keep 100% of your commission minus the $250 transaction fee on remaining sixteen transactions ($250 x 16 = $4,000).
To reach the minimum of $5,000 in capped fees, you would just have to pay an additional $1,000 towards your ICON Qualification Fee.

Once you’ve met the production requirements, there are also cultural and participation requirements you must meet to qualify to receive the full $16,000 each year:
$8,000 – Met your production requirements
$4,000 – Met Canzell’s cultural requirements
$4,000 – Attended both of the annual Canzell events ($2K for each event)
