Every agent at eXp Realty has a split of 80/20 until the cap is met.
Yes, agents at eXp Realty reach their commission cap after contributing $16,000 to the company. That means once you’ve earned around $80,000 or more in gross commission income (GCI), you’ll hit your cap—and from that point on, you keep 100% of your commission for the rest of your anniversary year. For teams, reduced caps are also available based on structure and performance.
No! Just $85 per month to our national brokerage

Yes, it’s just $60 per transaction with a max of $750 annually.
Zip. Zero. We are a nationally owned brokerage, so there are no franchises. This should save many agents thousands of dollars each year.

eXp Realty does not offer a stock purchase program, as we are a privately held company. However, if you're personally interested in investing in the stock market, you can open a brokerage account through platforms like TD Ameritrade, E*Trade, or others. It's a good idea to ask friends, family, or financial advisors for recommendations to find the option that best suits your needs.
At eXp Realty, we reward performance and growth differently. While we do not offer stock awards, our focus is on providing competitive compensation, robust support, and meaningful opportunities for our agents to grow their business. We believe in reinvesting directly into tools, training, and resources that help you succeed—because when you win, we all win.
Most of the stock awards agents receive are vested after two (2) or three (3) years. So if you received a stock award for hitting your commission cap in January of 2024, you could cash it out (or move to your personal brokerage account) in 2027.

All eXp Realty mentors are carefully selected and go through a thorough approval process to ensure they’re fully prepared to support new agents. Once you join, your broker will match you with a local mentor who understands your market and can guide you through your early transactions. If you already have a trusted mentor within your area who’s part of our certified program, just let your broker know—we’ll do our best to accommodate the match, as long as the mentor has the capacity to take on a new agent.

At eXp Realty, we believe in rewarding agents who help grow our community. When you personally refer a real estate agent who joins our team, you can earn referral incentives based on their performance. And if that agent goes on to bring others into the company, you’ll also benefit from a percentage of production within your extended network. It’s a way for us to grow together—and succeed together.
No, it’s completely up to you!
At eXp Realty, agents who refer others to the company have the opportunity to earn a percentage of the gross commission generated by those they introduce, as well as agents within their extended referral network—up to seven levels deep. For example, if an agent you referred sells a $500,000 home and earns a $15,000 commission, you could receive 3.5% of that amount—equating to $525. It’s our way of recognizing and rewarding those who help grow the Canzell community.
When you personally introduce a real estate agent to eXp Realty VIP, you have the opportunity to earn ongoing referral income based on their production. Our revenue-sharing model extends up to seven levels deep, allowing you to earn between 0.2% and 5% of the commissions generated by agents in your network. Best of all, there’s no cap—your earning potential grows as your network expands.
Revenue share payouts are processed monthly at eXp Realty. For example, if the agents in your referral network generated $50,000 in gross commission during January, and your share is 3.5%, you would receive approximately $1,750. That payment would be deposited directly into your account on February 22. It’s a consistent and transparent system designed to reward your contribution to the company’s growth.

Your sponsor is the person who played the biggest role in your decision to join eXp Realty. If you spoke with several people before making your choice, your sponsor should be the one who ultimately helped you say yes. Ideally, this person will also be someone who can support you as you get familiar with our tools, technology, and systems — and help guide your business growth, no matter where they’re located.

Your broker, sponsor, or mentor can help with most questions — but you also have access to our virtual office, where you can connect directly with departments like accounting, tech support, and more. It’s open 10 to 12 hours a day, making it easy to get help when you need it.
In addition, our internal platform allows you to chat directly with your brokers, transaction coordinators, accounting, stock services, and other key teams. And if you need contract or legal support on the weekend, most states have a broker on call — just a phone call or email away.
